I am an artist based in London, working across drawing and sculpture, with a material-based approach.
My practice is grounded in intuitive interaction with materials, responding to their tactility, movement, and unpredictability. I work closely with natural lacquer, textiles, and paper, allowing materials to guide the direction of each work through touch, resistance, and change.
Drawing and sculpture in my practice share a concern for tactility, rhythm, and duration, unfolding at different speeds and densities. Some works approach the condition of an object, while others remain closer to the act of viewing.
For me, making is a living, ongoing process. Forms emerge through direct interaction between the body and material, negotiated through action, failure, and recalibration. I am interested in how form can remain open and not fully defined, allowing meaning to be continuously deferred and reactivated through viewing, use, or contact.
